I used to be the person who would hit the snooze button 100 times before dragging myself out of bed,
but now I genuinely WAKE UP every morning feeling excited for the day ahead. So,
In today's post,
I'm going to share how my new morning HABITS have helped me feel more productive and generally happy every day!
My Routine: 📝
Water First: I drink a full glass of water as soon as I wake up.
It's crazy what a difference it makes!
Get Moving: I stretch or do a quick workout for 10-15 minutes.
It doesn't have to be perfect, just get those endorphins going!
Nourish My Body: For instance,
I make myself a super- quick breakfast like oatmeal with the addition of fruits and nuts. Yum!
Mindful Moment: I take 5 minutes to Meditate, Practice Deep Breathing, or Just Enjoy the Quiet Morning Hours. Its my me-time!
Tips and Variations:
In case I have time, go for a walk or jog to get some FRESH air is what I love doing.
I don't eat breakfast everyday.
Some days I'll swap it for a smoothie or a yogurt parfait or whatever works!
I sometimes find the time to also jot down some thoughts or do some planning about what you want to achieve for the day.
